Boursin Dairy-Free

Created in France during the ’60s, Boursin garlic and herb cheese has been a household name through generations of celebrations. Now, with the inclusion of Boursin Dairy-Free Garlic and Herbs Cheese Spread Alternative, we vegans can partake in this party favorite, guilt-free.
Boursin partnered with trusted vegan brand Follow Your Heart to create a dairy-free cheese spread that is just as creamy and crumbly as the original. I tested mine for the first time on a vegan cheese board and plant-based charcuterie. Seasoned nuts, plump grapes, and salty crackers were no contest paralleled with Boursin Dairy-Free! A smooth cheese spread that is a bit more crumbly than cream cheese is met with pungent garlic flavor, bite from chives, and peppery parsley. This cheese spread can be used traditionally in pair with crackers and wine, or in any dishes you would make with Boursin such as salad, pasta bakes, or even stuffed figs. I already finished a tub and feel myself becoming the next “Boursinophile“- a dairy-free cheese lover unable to resist the alluring Boursin Dairy-Free Spread day or night!
As of April 2021, Boursin Dairy-Free Cheese Spread starting rolling out in retailers across the US. During its initial launch in October of 2020, Boursin Dairy-Free was only available via Amazon Fresh deliveries, which we do not currently have in my area. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I knew this cheese spread was bound to be delicious, and I could not wait to get it in my mouth! I found my new Boursin Dairy-Free at Sprouts. The “Where to Buy” feature on Boursin’s website does not currently list any stores in our area, but that is clearly not the case! Their website just needs some updating, so hang tight.

Be on the lookout for more dairy-free options from Bel Foods, as they are already working on the production of dairy-free Laughing Cow Baby Bel Cheese (now I’ll believe that cow is laughing)!
