Each Sunday you can have a brunch-style treat delivered to your doorstep. Last weekend I indulged in Maple Mochi Donuts, created by our very own Boho Buttercream.
The flavors rotate weekly as inspiration strikes, but Boho Buttercream’s Mochi Donuts are always Gluten-Free, Soy-Free and Vegan. Mochi are round rice ball cakes, that you have probably seen filled with ice cream either at a Japanese restaurant or in the freezer department of your grocery store. Mochi donuts take the soft and chewy rice cake to another level, by rolling into a balls, creating a ring, and crisping the outside.
Mochi Donuts are a Japanese food trend that have more recently made their way to America. Boho Buttercream took on the challenge of creating an allergy-free Mochi Donut, and the results are crave-worthy! My donut delivery consisted of bouncy, crispy, vanilla flavored mochi donuts, coated in a sweet glaze with subtle maple flavor. Maple was always my favorite donut flavor growing up, so I knew when Boho revealed last weekend’s flavor to be maple, that I had to place my order!
Each box contains a half-dozen, and is wrapped beautifully, should you want to place an order as a gift. Each set of six is priced at $25 + $5 delivery fee. Well-worth treating yourself, as these are my new favorite high-end treat. I am SO looking forward to placing another order, as soon as next week’s flavor is revealed and orders open up!
