How many dips does it take to get to the bottom of a box of NUGGS?
After going veg you tend to forget about things like the different breading on chicken nuggets, and simply wait for the day they make a suitable substitute you can actually get your hands on.
Until now, McDonald’s was the only nugget I knew of with a crispy crunchy crust. Albeit it’s been years since I’ve had a nugget to compare, from what I recall the breading on most nuggets is crumbly, but McDonald’s has a smooth coating that surrounds their nugget, ensuring you get a crisp crunch with each bite.
Enter: NUGGS
They’re known as the TESLA of chicken, and are on the way to being the number one plant-based chicken nugget on the market. NUGGS are, in my opinion, the superior chickenless nugget.
NUGGS dare you to “Join the Simulation”. NUGGS 2.0 are crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and I don’t feel like I’m peeling apart pieces of meat with my teeth as I tear into each bite. (A must if you’re a vegan for the animals, and are trying to avoid that part of the simulation, I know I am)
You can currently only purchase NUGGS online but they ship mighty fast, and arrive in a dry ice filled box, ready to be stored in your own freezer. I have a feeling we will be seeing these boxes on shelves near us within the new year, but in the meantime I’m signing up for that repeat delivery situation, and am FOR SURE trying their new SPICY NUGGS!
