It’s in there, but with Prego+ Plant Protein, the meat isn’t!

Typically I wouldn’t be so excited about a tomato sauce, but this just hits differently. I don’t know how much of a spaghetti person you are, but typically I am not one. I love pasta, but spaghetti just isn’t it for me. That is until they released this brand new Prego+ Meatless Meat sauce! I am not just blowing smoke, this sauce really is my absolute new favorite and I am about to purchase another case.

Prego made headlines late last year when they revealed their newest sauce recipe: Prego+ Plant Protein, Meatless Meat. A major brand making a vegan-friendly “meat” sauce is a HUGE step in the direction of a plant-based future. I was so stoked on the news, but I waited and waited, and there was no sauce available in our area! I kept revisiting the product location feature on Prego’s website to no avail. I went on a spaghetti strike in protest! But then, I found Prego’s listings on Amazon, and decided to invest in a case of sauce! After all, the more we buy the more they make! (yes, this is really how I rationalize spending) I couldn’t have been more pleased. This sauce is sweet and hearty. The flavors of tomato, sweet onion, and garlic marry for the perfect sweet sauce I didn’t know I was missing.

I just used my last jar of Prego+ Meatless Meat, and am happy to report that our local Save Mart stores are beginning to stock this sauce! I will be cleaning out the inventory once I make it to the store because this sauce is mine and my family’s new favorite!
