Have you visited VeganBurg in San Francisco?
VeganBurg is a 100% vegan eatery that hails from Singapore and has won the SF Green Business Awards in both 2017 AND 2022! It is also the FIRST casual vegan burger restaurant opening on 10-10-2010.
VeganBurg has a vast menu of burgers and sides- plus shakes made with Oatly soft serve! When I visited, I had a vanilla shake along with their “Chik’n Buffalo Burger”. The Chick’n Buffalo is a burger comprised of a spicy and soy-free chick’n patty made with pea protein, and topped with buffalo sauce, in-house pickles, and slaw. Mine was also loaded with Just Egg and vegan bacon!
I also received the new “Carne Asada Fries” made with Impossible meat. The fries were topped with pico de Gallo, guacamole, pickled jalapeños, and The Uncreamery nacho cheese! They are SUPER filling and absolutely delicious.
All of VeganBurg’s packaging is made of FSC materials, uses vegetable-based ink and vegetable lining in place of plastic, plus it’s biodegradable!
The location of VeganBurg in San Francisco is off of iconic Haight & Ashbury. I used to visit this location often as a teen, as the vibes and thrift stores are all-consuming! I wish this restaurant existed then, but it gives us all a reason to visit again, and again! See you at VeganBurg Plant Warriors!
