Yesterday was my 16-year anniversary of going vegan, and today is Valentine’s Day! I like to celebrate by “treating” myself (and my fur babies).

La Espiga is my go-to for treats, as they are always rotating their vegan-friendly choices for the holidays. I can count on them to provide the absolute best-tasting desserts and service.

Pictured are their Valentine Cupcake flavors; Chocolate Lovers, Red Velvet, Strawberry Dream, and Churro!

The specialty cake slice, is vanilla and chocolate marble, with strawberry filling. It’s completely mouth-watering and this is my second time devouring the flavor. It’s like a Neapolitan dream cake, and I cannot get enough!

Lastly is the towering coveted rice crispies, made vegan. Drizzled with nondairy chocolate, and made with Dandies vegan marshmallows, these heart-shaped crispys make heartbreak sweet.

I am often single on this holiday, but it doesn’t stop me from celebrating the abundance of love I experience on a daily basis!
