The trend that is breaking the internet has reached our local bakeries, and Boho Buttercream has a Vegan Dark Chocolate Cocoa Bomb that will blow your mind.
Chef Anya’s dark chocolate cocoa bomb is a bold and adult-take on hot chocolate, that is is vegan-friendly and gluten-free. Rich in flavor but not bitter, this is dark chocolate hot cocoa everyone can enjoy.
I heated oat milk until bubbling, and dropped my cocoa bomb like a jager-filled shot glass. Alternatively, you can set your bomb in the cup and then slowly top with steamed milk, but I find this yields clumps of chocolate at the bottom that are not as easy to mix, plus it is not as fun! After the bomb has had a chance to begin melting, tap your bomb with a spoon and reveal the cocoa mix and mini house-made vegan marshmallows! This drink was so much fun to watch and serve! It’s an edible activity and a surprise in a cup!
