Vegan marshmallow fluff by Dandies is FINALLY available in stores and online!
Dandies have long been the vegan go-to for marshmallows of every size and flavor, so it makes sense they would create a vegan marshmallow fluff alternative. This was previewed at EXPO West, but the tiny test tubs were not big enough to tide me over!
The original “Marshmallow Fluff” debuted over 100 years ago in Massachusetts, and the state is still one of the most popular consumers of the product. How do they use the stuff? In “Fluffernater Sandwiches,” of course! White bread with (mostly) equal parts peanut butter and fluff. But, whether enjoying straight from the jar, topping cocoa, quick s’mores, or as a mix-in for a midcentury fruit dip or fudge, Dandies Vegan Marshmallow Cream works just like the traditional fluff. Dandies Vegan Marshmallow Cream is sweet and vanilla-y, sticky and creamy, taffy-like and melty. Plus, it’s shelf-stable and free from the 9 top allergens. (Ingredients listed at the bottom of the page)
“Fluffy Coke” is a summertime foodie trend I was excited to recreate with Dandies. It’s simply a glass coated with fluff, then filled with ice and your choice of cola. The fluff marries with the cola in the glass, creating a taste similar to a Coke float or “dirty soda.” It’s simple to make but tasty to do. Plus, if you don’t want to waste ANY of your Dandies Vegan Marshmallow Cream, you can make it straight in the jar when it’s running low. This way, you won’t miss out on ANY of its sweet and sticky goodness!
Dandies Vegan Marshmallow Cream is still making its way onto store shelves, but many online retailers are stocked. Whole Foods is your best bet if you’d like to find it in person, but vegan web stores carry it if you don’t mind waiting for shipping. I ordered mine in a haul from Besties Vegan Paradise. It’s shelf-stable, so no ice packs were required.
