I am a HUGE fan of ”heat and eat” meals.

I love to be lazy, and still get a great meal. Sure, I can meal prep and still have that option… OR I can purchase something that will always satisfy, by my go-to vegan brand Gardein and cut out ALL the prep time. If you’re a lazy vegan like me, the latter wins EVERY TIME!

First, two Power Bowls from the Gardein and Healthy Choice collab! I love when big brands go vegan, so I had to try one of each! The Be’f and Vegetable Stir Fry was my favorite of the two, but that’s because I love Asian inspired flavors. The Chipotle Chick’n is great, and not too spicy. The Power Bowls were definitely filling, and contained an abundance of veggies!

Quick breakfasts for vegans are something the frozen aisle generally lacks, so when I saw the Gardein Breakfast Bowls I was ecstatic! The Saus’age and Homestyle Gravy bowl was a more classic eggs and potatoes breakfast, while the Southwest Saus’age and Veggie bowl contained more spices and was overall more flavorful. I think they were equally delicious, and each have their mornings depending on your palate’s preference. The veg egg was fluffy and certainly reminiscent of what I remember a scrambled egg tasting like!

Lastly, I tried the ULTIMATE plant-based burger! The patty was smaller in size, and fits perfectly on a standard bun. It is soy-free and tastes like a backyard bbq in your mouth! I love that the patty doesn’t taste like beans or grains, and the texture holds together like a true burger patty should. I topped mine with the normal fixings, and was absolutely satisfied.

Gardein has been pumping out hot plant-based products for years now and they never disappoint. From skillet meals, to their new line of canned soups (which I am DYING to try), Gardein keeps bringing nostalgic home style meals to the plant-based consumer. Money talks, and with that, purchasing from brands who align with our values helps spread the message that “the future is vegan”!
