A friend of the Easter Bunny at The Very Vegan Sweet Shop sent me an Easter Surprise!

I was gifted a box of Easter goodies from The Very Vegan Sweet Shop and crafted the perfect Easter Basket! I received limited edition and ‘hard to find’ items, along with standing favorites. Below I dive into detail on all the goodies I received for my basket.

The Xocolate Bar Dark Chocolate Peanut Caramel– Chewy vegan caramel with roasted peanuts, organic fair trade dark chocolate, and Maldon sea salt. This is like a super indulgent and elegant Snickers bar. The caramel is sticky and chewy and the dark chocolate is smooth and rich without bitterness. The salty nuts make for a sweet, rich, salty medley and a creamy, crunchy texture.

Dirty Cow Salty Susan Pretzel Chocolate Bar– A seesaw of sweet and savory to turn your frown upside down. Crunchy and salty pretzels are encased in smooth rich dark chocolate. This may be my favorite bar, as I LOVE salty chocolate!

Raaka Blueberry Lemon Unroasted Dark Chocolate– Limited Edition. This blend of fruity Tanzanian cacao with dried blueberries and zesty lemon tastes like blueberry lemonade. This is a rich and creamy, dark chocolate with powerful notes of tart lemon and blueberry.

No Whey Mini Cream VEGG- Milk-free chocolate eggs that reveal a refreshing mini cream center. These are a vegan Cadbury Egg alternative. Vegan milk chocolate outside with a super melty center that tastes like buttercream.

Happi Oat Milk Chocolate Egg (Plain Milk)- Plain (oat) M!lk chocolate crafted into a delicious, plant based oat m!lk chocolate egg. A hollow vegan milk chocolate egg that is nostalgic in design and taste.

Sweet Lounge Vegan Fruity Bears– Fruity bear shaped vegan gummies. These sweets are free-from gluten, dairy, soy and made without artificial colors or flavors. These are super fruity flavored and the texture is more like a ‘Now n Later’ than a gummy bear.

The Very Vegan Sweet Shop is an all-vegan online candy store (that also has a standing storefront in Chicago shared with Upton’s Naturals) stocking vegan chocolate, gummies, sweet snacks, baking inclusions, and more. It’s also vegan and woman-owned! They carry items from across the world so you can find your favorite local brands mixed with UK picks and limited-time offerings. I love having a one-stop shop for vegan treats for holidays and every day!
