Surprise! I thought my sponsorship with Vegan Cuts had resolved, but I unexpectedly received my new favorite of ALL the boxes in the mail!
July’s Vegan Cuts box is all about ocean-safe, and summertime-ready snacks. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds from July boxes supports the Marine Mammal Care Center in LA!
A quick recap on Vegan Cuts before we take a dip into July’s box- Every month Vegan Cuts fills its snack subscription boxes with the latest and greatest in vegan food and donates a portion from subscription sales to an animal sanctuary. This month’s Vegan Cuts Snack Box was a mix of the following: (video of unboxing can be found on IG and TIKTOK)
Barnacle Foods– Bullwhip Kelp Hot Sauce. Bullwhip is the local name for savory and nutritious kelp found in Alaska, and is the star of this hot sauce along with piri piri pepper. I haven’t tried this yet, but am looking forward to taste-testing it with my nephew who is a hot sauce aficionado! I am hopeful it is not too hot for me!
Ocean’s Halo– Trayless Seaweed Snack. I am stoked they are now making seaweed snacks without the added plastic tray! These are absolutely delicious and now made with more sustainable packaging. Seaweed sheets are great as a snack on their own, but I also like to use a couple at a time in recipes or to add to ramen!
Kibo– Maui Onion Lentil Chips. These have an airy, soft crunch that is like a protein-filled take on Pop Chips! The Maui Onion flavor is nice, and one of the harder flavors to find in a vegan variety from other brands. I would buy Kibo if I saw it in a store near me!
OffLimits– Spark Cereal and Cereal Glitter. Ok so I did not film myself actually unboxing every individual item this month, as a means of changing up the video, but if you could have heard me when I found this item in the box… OMG, I have been eyeing OffLimits Cereal for a WHILE now, and it is all because of this infamous cereal glitter packet that regularly sells out on their website. I received the Spark Strawberry mini cereal box (that is pink! AS IF?) and a pack of CEREAL GLITTER! I am to make a wish, add this glitter pack to my cereal milk, and then if it turns BLUE my wish may come TRUE! How cool is this? I can’t wait to finally taste this and try out the magical glitter situation!
Bakery on Main– White Chip Raspberry Swirl Granola. A Vegan Cuts favorite, it would seem! I am not complaining, however, because each of these granola mixes is delicious! For a parfait flavor without the spoon, this granola is dotted with dried raspberries and white chocolate chips, among crispy gluten-free granola.
Blake’s Seed Based– Birthday Cake Rice Crispy Treat. I could have sworn when I first looked into this brand their products were not vegan, but it must have been a dream because these Birthday Crispy Treats are in fact vegan! I have tasted this since unboxing, and it was super tasty! I will for sure be looking for these in stores!
Outstanding Foods– Chedda Cheese Balls. If you’ve been following me, you know I somewhat recently ordered an assortment of Outstanding Foods Cheese Balls. Because I already tried them, I know they are delicious dupes for the Mr. Peanut canisters of our youth. Now, who can I talk to at Outstanding Foods to get giant tubs of these in stores? These tiny bags are NOT cutting it!
Sound– Grapefruit Lavender Ginger. I swear someone at Vegan Cuts has to be hand curating these boxes for me! Out of all the flavor options for the Sound Sparkling Water with Tea and Botanicals, I received the flavor I would have selected myself- Grapefruit Lavender Ginger Tea! I haven’t sipped on this yet but I have high hopes! Sound makes “flavors that sparkle” with only organic ingredients and no added sweeteners, just tea, fruit, and botanicals that flavor sparkling water.
Waterboy– Instant Hydration Sports Formula in Lemon Lime and Strawberry Lemonade. Hydrating, electrolyte, and vitamin filled powder packs! These little pouches provide instant hydration, along with added vitamins for reducing nausea, fatigue, and what they have termed “hang-xiety”. I have two flavors to try and think they will be my BFF come Monday!
Munk Pack– Blueberry Almond Vanilla Granola Bar. This is one of the first items I snacked on. I was impressed by the taste and the chewy texture reminds me of those Quaker Chewy Bars I used to ask for in my lunch boxes!
Thank you for this super fun surprise Vegan Cuts! I am thrilled with this month’s box, and look forward to trying all my new snacks!
