Elevate your snacking experience with high quality, diet-curated snack boxes.
Snacking with Elevate makes selecting top-tier, protein filled snacks easy and worry free. Elevate was founded by health-food enthusiast Nick Snow, who was dissatisfied with the snack subscriptions he’d tried. He set out to create his own snack box subscription, with snacks that were appetizing and you could feel good about eating. 4 of Elevate’s 6 snack boxes are fully vegan and several also avoid certain allergens such as gluten, soy, and nuts. With plant-based boxes at the forefront, their best-selling box is the “Vegan and Gluten-Free Premium Snacks Gift Box”.
I received their most popular vegan and gluten-free box to test, which is also available in an upgraded subscription version with a new mix every month straight from Amazon! My box was filled with 10 better-for-you snacks that were all satisfying and delicious. I enjoyed each and every snack in this box and was impressed by some that I hadn’t previously seen or tried before.
Below I have detailed a bit about each of the snacks I tried:
Popcornopolis Nearly Naked Gourmet Popcorn- I am surprised this is the “Nearly Naked” variety, as this popcorn was perfectly salted as absolutely addicting! Popcorn is my favorite food (and I know calling popcorn “food” is like, wildly debatable) and now I know I need more Popcornopolis in my life!
Sea Salted Veggie Stix– I have definitely tried these before, and am a fan! A softer crunch than your average chip, satisfying and salty. Veggie Stix are colored with vegetable extract to give them their veggie-like appeal, and have less fat than the leading potato chips (I am assuming that is Lay’s?). I find them tasty!
Artisan Tropic Sea Salt Plantain Strips- I have tried Plantain Chips before, but these taste of a higher quality. They are basically savory banana chips filled with vitamin C and potassium. I really like the texture and salty flavor, and will be on the look out for these in stores.
Eden Organic Pumpkin Seeds, Dry Roasted with Sea Salt- Pumpkin Seeds are a superfood! They are packed with protein, zinc, iron, and magnesium, so whether you eat them on their own or use to top a salad, you reap the benefits. These seeds were sea-salted and dry roasted making for the perfect pocket snack.
Just Plain Ola Toasted Coconut Grain-Free Granola– A mix of coconut chips, almonds, pecans, and sunflower seeds, lightly sweetened with maple syrup, coconut, and vanilla extract. This is a nice twist on granola that wasn’t overly sugary. I would eat it again if I found it in stores, and am curious to try the other flavors they offer.
Jana Banana The Original Banana Bar with Peanut Butter- I am super impressed with this Jana Banana bar! Apparently, each bar contains two bananas and peanut butter which I noticed from the mild nutty flavor. This reminds me of the old-fashioned Mary Jane candy which is a peanut butter/molasses flavored candy with a taffy-like texture. This is a healthy dupe for Mary Janes that I literally never knew existed, and I need more!
BoBo’s Apple Pie Stuff’d Oat Bite- I have tried other BoBo’s treats, but this was my first Oat Bite. I really liked it! Baked oats surround sweet apple filling, and is reminiscent of a handheld apple crumble. These would be great for an on-the-go breakfast!
MadeGood Vanilla Crispy Square- This is an organic and animal-free Rice Krispy Treat alternative. The perfect dose of sweet nostalgia in a lunch-box-sized bar. I regularly pick these up from Target. MadeGood knows what they are doing!
Enjoy Life Double Chocolate Brownie Soft Baked Mini Cookies- I appreciate Enjoy Life and their commitment to allergen-free sweets. These were adorably tiny, chocolatey, cake-like cookies laden with Enjoy Life’s signature mini chocolate chips. They melt in your mouth and are a perfect double chocolate treat.
YumEarth Organic Fruit Snacks- YumEarth makes gelatin-free fruit snacks that are colored and flavored with real fruits and veggies! They pack a powerfully fruity flavor and are shaped like mini fruits. Keep an eye out during the holidays as they often make these in fun seasonal shapes as well!
Overall I am pleased with my Elevate Snack Box! I think this is a great gift option for those people who have everything and you aren’t sure what to buy, or for when you want to have great snacks on hand for your allergy-sensitive guests. You can order your own snack box directly from ElevateSnackBox.com and the monthly vegan + gluten-free subscription box is available on Amazon. Your first subscription box is just $24.99 with free shipping, and includes 12 vegan and gluten-free snacks!
