Is your diet KIND?
We may be on our way to chilly weather, but that’s never stopped me from eating frozen treats!
Kind Snacks released a new line of FROZEN plant-based bars and bowls that are vegan-friendly! The bars are filled with non-dairy ice cream made from almond milk, and the bowls are a blend of fruit concentrate!
The bars taste like a frozen candy bar! I was never a huge Snickers fan but both bars are reminiscent of that to me, and I’m NOT complaining! The combination of chocolate and crunchy nuts, layered with a cool and creamy center definitely satisfies when I’m HANGRY!
The Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter bar is just that; peanuts, creamy frozen almond milk, and a coating of dark chocolate. The Dark Chocolate Almond Sea Salt bar consists of; frozen almond milk, sea salt, almonds, and dark chocolate. The Peanut Butter bar is my favorite of the two, but I really like the sea salt flavor of the Almond Bar. Therefore both varieties will be replenished in my freezer!
Finally, we have the frozen Smoothie Bowls, which are nice when you want something light for breakfast, lunch, or dessert! The fruit concentrate in each bowl is blended with almond milk, then topped with almond butter, and a crispy puffed granola. I tried the Mango Pineapple Passion Fruit bowl and the Triple Berry Açaí bowl.
The Mango Pineapple Passion Fruit pairs best with the almond butter, in my opinion, and was less complex in flavor. I like the traditional, tropical fruit blend of the smoothie and the flavor wasn’t as tart. My favorite however, is the Triple Berry Açaí as the minute it hit my tastebuds I thought I was eating a Flintstones Push-Pop! Oh nostalgia! The crunchy granola adds a needed crunch and contains a mix of oats, puffed brown rice, and grain flakes.
I found my Kind Snacks at Target, but most grocery stores carry this brand!
Let me know if you have or plan to try one of their frozen treats! Which is your favorite?!
