Let’s stuff a vegan’s stocking!
While Santa typically does the stuffing, let’s help him out this year with a list of some vegan-friendly items we’d love to see in our stockings!
Plant-based holiday favorites and even some new cruelty-free festive finds can be found just about anywhere! Here is a round-up of some randomly collected stuffers, from grocery store picks, to box store selections. I filled my ideal vegan stocking with snacks, treats, self-care products, and vegan versions of nostalgic favorites. Swipe through each store’s stuffers on my Instagram post, and see a list of my finds below:
First, we have a staple vegan candy made jumbo- a Dum Dum lollipop filled with mini Dum Dums! While available in several colors, I chose pink! (Obvs.) I found this at Big Lots, along with an Epielle Elf Sheet Mask. Epielle has so many fun seasonal masks that are both cruelty-free and vegan. I picked up a couple to gift, as well as stuff.
Next are selections from my beloved- Target: Yum Earth brand mini candy canes and winter shaped gummies, Target’s store-branded Good & Gather Hot Cocoa Bar (I would compare to a LARA Bar), “Oat Milk” carton ornament, “accidentally vegan” Wondershop Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Bark, Biscoff Cookie Sticks & Cookie Butter pack, Sour Patch Kids COAL candy, and Holler & Glow “elfie” foot masks! I love Holler & Glow’s products and these elf foot masks are too cute! I just had to pair this with the elf sheet mask from Epielle!
At Sprouts I picked up some seasonal store-brand Vegan Lip Balm in Apple Cider and Candy Cane scents! I have actually been using these for a couple months now and LOVE THEM! I grabbed extras for stuffers, and have tubes of my own in every room. I also found new Sander’s Dairy-Free and Organic Salted Caramels, Tony’s Chocolonely Dark Chocolate Candy Cane Bar, and Chocolove Dark Chocolate Peppermint Creme Trees! Tony’s Chocoloney is a slave-free confectionary based in the Netherlands, working to end the illegal child labor in the chocolate industry through example and by raising awareness. While this note is not necessarily “Christmasy” I think it is important to share!
Some small shop stuffers include Vegan Power Co seasonal stickers (I am obsessed with this Furby Krampus! Who remembers asking for a Furby for Christmas?) and Vegan Girl Gang holiday socks with scrunchie that urge “Free all the cows – All my homies love cows”!
Lastly are some one-stop wonders: Bloom “allergy and animal-friendly” Coconut Milk Caramel Sauce I found at World Market, A Cocoa Creme-Filled Handmade Candy Cane from Trader Joe’s, an Oat Beverage Chocolate bar from Imperfect Foods that rivals the milkiest of chocolate bars, and a pink unicorn stuffie by Re-Softables I snagged at Walmart! Re-Softables stuffed animal friends are not only adorable and cuddly but made from 100% Recycled Plastic! Each stuffie is made from the equivalent of 4 plastic bottles, and is safe for ages 0 and up! We have a new baby in our extended family, so I was excited to find this brand for gifting this season!
With that, we have a “filled to the cuff” vegan stocking, ready for discovery come Christmas morning! Are there any stuffer picks you will now be on the hunt for? Anything you’ve already gathered? We are 11 days out and Santa needs our help!
