Pizza Hut has finally gone Beyond!

I have a friend who works at my local Pizza Hut and they let me know there was a shipment of Beyond Meat at their establishment, just waiting for the release date. The shipment wasn’t the only thing waiting, as I’ve been sliding in their DM’s asking “is it Pizza time?” for days. TODAY IT FINALLY IS! IT IS PIZZA TIME YOU GUYS!

At all US Pizza Huts, you can officially order Beyond Pan Pizzas! No, there isn’t dairy-free cheese…yet! But I bet with the surge in plant-based meat sales, we will see the option for a vegan-friendly cheese swap anytime. Currently there are two featured Beyond Meat Pizzas; “Beyond Italian Sausage” (marinara sauce, cheese and Beyond crumbles) and “The Great Beyond” (same as aforementioned, with added veggies). Both new Beyond Pan Pizzas can be ordered without cheese to be vegan-friendly. Please be warned that everything is made on shared equipment, however!

All traditional pizza crusts at Pizza Hut are vegan-friendly; mouth-watering Pan crust, old faithful Hand-Tossed, and calorie saving Thin ‘N Crispy. Choose your crust, don’t add crust seasoning, hold the cheese, choose marinara or buffalo sauce, add BEYOND MEAT CRUMBLES, and any vegetable (or fruit) toppings to your heart’s content! My friend always jokes that my creation is less of a pizza, and more of a “forest cake”. I can’t help it! I like to add all the veggies!

Lastly, pizza isn’t the only vegan fare at the Hut. Start your meal with fries from their “Wing Street” menu, and polish off your plate with a dessert of Cinnamon Sticks (without the icing). NOT to be confused with the Cinnabon Mini Buns (that do contain animal ingredients).
