Sometimes on a weeknight you just need to Get Forked!
For me that night was tonight, and Fresh Fork Ceres did not disappoint! Fresh Fork keeps their menu simplistic, and offers Bowls (in two sizes) and Salads (only big salads, just as Elaine Benes would want). The vegan protein option is grilled Tofu! Both the brown and white rice are vegan friendly, as well as the prepared vegetables, and salad fixings. Choose to top your bowl or salad with sauce or dressing, as their signature Fork’n sauce and salad dressing are confirmed vegan friendly!
Are you more of a bowl or salad person? (Lemme know in the comments!)
I tried the Bowl with; Tofu, Mixed Vegetables, added Avocado, and Fork’n Sauce! The tofu was browned perfectly on the outside and delicately soft on the inside. My vegetable medley was made up of Broccoli, Carrots, and Cabbage. The sauce is a balance of sweet and heat, that I can see becoming addicting!
This is my first time featuring a restaurant from Ceres, and I’m stoked for it to be a fast and healthy option for us to enjoy with our Omnivore loved ones! I’d also like to point out that best part about this restaurant, aside from the protein packed and flavorful dishes, is the location! Located just off of Highway 99, you can literally just hop off the freeway, fill your car’s tank and your own, then be back on your way!
If you’re not down for Pick-Up, Fresh Fork is available for Delivery via their website, ToastTab and GubHub. Do yourself a favor, and Get Forked!
