Formerly “Abbot’s Butcher”, Abbot’s (not to be confused with the elementary) is making plant-based meats with none of the additives or artificial ingredients typically found in vegan substitutes. The founder of Abbot’s, Kerry Song, when diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, found that many of her favorite vegan products contained ingredients no longer suitable for her diet. This led to the creation of Abbot’s, named after the street where Kerry was living when the company began. Abbot’s is vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, non-GMO, and the first plant-based meat approved by Whole30. Made from a combination of pea protein, water, and spices, Abbot’s proves that whole-food, plant-based eating is not only simple and beneficial, but tasty too. Looking for the ingredients?
